Scandi ensuites work hardest when the tile choice does less. Pale matte porcelain in 600×1200mm reduces grout to almost nothing, which makes a small footprint read larger. Stick to one warm-neutral colour from floor to wall — soft white, oat, or warm grey — and let the joinery and tapware carry the contrast. Skip polished finishes here; they show water spots, and the whole point of a Scandi ensuite is daily-quiet, low-friction calm.
