Terms of Sale

1. About us

Marmoré Tile Studio is operated by Marmoré Pty Ltd (ACN pending), an Australian company. These terms govern all purchases made on marmoretilestudio.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Orders and pricing

  • All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
  • Freight costs are displayed separately at checkout and depend on your delivery postcode and order size.
  • We reserve the right to cancel an order if a pricing error has occurred. We will notify you and provide a full refund if this happens.
  • Order confirmation by email constitutes our acceptance of your order.

3. Payment

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order. We do not store your card details.

4. Tile samples

  • Sample packs are $15 flat for up to 5 × 10cm samples, delivered Australia-wide.
  • The $15 sample fee is credited against your first full tile order of $300 or more.
  • Samples are indicative only — natural variation in tile colour, texture and tone is expected and not grounds for return.

5. Freight and delivery

  • Tiles are shipped direct from our importer warehouses to your delivery address via pallet freight.
  • Estimated delivery times are shown on each product page. These are estimates and not guarantees.
  • Delivery is to ground floor / kerbside only unless otherwise arranged. The driver is not required to carry goods inside.
  • You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept delivery. Re-delivery fees may apply if no one is available.
  • We deliver Australia-wide. We do not currently ship internationally.

6. Checking your delivery

Please inspect all pallets before signing the freight carrier's delivery docket. If you notice damage or shortages, note them on the docket before signing. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of any damaged tiles and the outer packaging.

Signing the delivery docket without noting damage limits our ability to pursue a freight claim on your behalf.

7. Returns and refunds

  • We accept returns of undamaged, unopened tiles within 30 days of delivery.
  • Return freight costs are at the buyer's expense unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
  • Opened boxes, cut tiles, and special-order items are non-returnable.
  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the return.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

9. Tile variation

Natural stone and handmade tiles vary in colour, tone, texture and surface character from piece to piece and batch to batch. This is an inherent characteristic and not a defect. We recommend ordering a 10–15% wastage allowance and purchasing all tiles for a project from the same production batch where possible. Our team can advise on batch availability before you order.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the goods. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss including installation costs, labour costs, or project delays.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
